Past appraisal assignments have included properties as far north as Huntsville, Alabama, to as far south as Gulf Shores, on the Alabama Gulf Coast. However, in order to best serve the needs of our customers, we prefer to stay within the metropolitan Birmingham area as well as some areas adjacent to this MSA. Specifically, we service Jefferson, Shelby, Blount, and St. Clair Counties. We also perform appraisals in southeast Walker County. We are happy to answer inquiries about whether a particular assignment is within our service area. For those lenders who assign appraisals based on ZIP code designations, we service the 350--, 351--, and 352-- ZIP codes.
We have appraised a wide variety of residential, commercial and industrial properties, and often collaborate with each other on complex assignments in order to provide as expert and studied analysis as is possible. Past assignments have included: single family detached and attached, small residential income producing properties (duplex and triplex homes), condominiums, townhouse, historical buildings, vacant land, subdivision analysis, multifamily residential (apartments), retail shopping centers, golf courses, marinas, funeral homes, islands, service stations, freestanding retail properties, post offices, restaurants, foundries, factories, refractories, mechanical shops, auto service centers, and many other typical and atypical residential, commercial and industrial properties. We also have extensive experience with right-of-way appraisals, relocation and insurance loss appraisal.
For lenders we prepare conventional, FHA and VA appraisals.
We are founding members of the Appraiser Group Data Association, a central Alabama data collective ran by and for local appraisers exclusively. In addition, we are affiliate members of the Birmingham Board of Realtors™ and have access to MLS™ records and CRS™ (courthouse) data. |
